Join The Juniata Valley Bank for the Bookin' It 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in beautiful Mifflintown, Pennsylvania. This exciting event features a 5k run and walk, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels to support the Juniata County Library.

In partnership with The Juniata Valley Bank, this community-focused event is raising funds to enhance library resources and programs that serve the Juniata County. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, with the 5k starting at 9:00 AM. Awards will be handed out immediately after the race finishes.

The race will be beginning in front of Heister House and follow Old Route 22 to the Old Canal House and loop back to Heister House.

*Participants that are registered by August 27, 2025 are guaranteed a race shirt in their size. Registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last.

About the Juniata County Library
The Juniata County Library, with 40,805 patron visits in 2024, is a gateway to community connection through groups and programs that bring people together. From children's books to biographies to bestselling authors, the Juniata County Library has a book for every reader. The library also loans out mobile hotspots to access Wi-Fi after hours, free public computer use, museum passes, and more!
In 2024, the Juniata County Library added 2,904 new items to their collection, and issued 482 NEW library cards.

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be immediately disqualified, asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants; there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
